The official theme of Sun* Annual Awards 2025

Throughout that journey, alongside the goal of building and strengthening our internal capabilities, we must also remain flexible and perceptive to fully harness the potential of the era and rise strongly in every circumstance.

If there were one word to represent the transformation of the technology world in recent years, it would undoubtedly be “AI.” More than just a tech trend, AI has completely changed the game, opening up countless opportunities while presenting unprecedented challenges. It has become the driving force that shapes how we think, create, and redefine the limits of human capability. Today, we not only talk about AI, we work with AI, and we live with AI. It has almost become something as obvious as we can feel its impact in every corner of our work and daily lives.

Inspired by the diversity of capabilities, the ability to grow flexibly, and the spirit of digging deeper to break through in the AI era, “Root Further” has been chosen as the official theme of the Sun* Annual Awards 2025.

Beyond its literal meaning, “Root Further” represents our journey to reach farther, anchor deeper, and tap into hidden “geological layers” so we can continue to endure, rise, and nurture the ever-burning passion of Sun* people to create value. Borrowing the image of roots continuously driving deep into the earth, powerfully weaving through layers of “sediment” to absorb the most essential nutrients, Sun* people are also “absorbing” the nourishment of the era and the challenges of the market to renew ourselves each day, expand our capabilities, and firmly “take root” in the AI era - a completely new, complex, and unpredictable “geological layer,” yet one filled with tremendous potential and opportunity.

When facing a storm, only trees with strong roots can stand firm. An organization composed of individuals confident in their diverse capabilities, ready to create and embrace challenges, and able to master change is not only resilient in the face of disruption but also able to leverage every advantage and overcome the challenges of the times. More than just the name of a new chapter in the organization’s development journey, “Root Further” serves as an encouragement, urging each of us to believe in ourselves, dig deeper, unlock our full potential, break boundaries, and become the most versatile and outstanding version of ourselves. In the AI era, diverse capabilities and the ability to harness the power of the times are the prerequisites for lasting success.

No one can predict how many hidden “geological layers” remain buried within the “soil” of the technology industry and the modern market.
