Deploy DApps and customize Blockchain in a flash with Forge SDK from ArcBlock

ArcBlock - the top blockchain platform has just recently released Forge SDK - a new framework that allows easy DApps build and deployment and customization for different Blockchain platforms for developers.

The birth of Web Frameworks is considered a major influence to web application development. Web Frameworks help to decrease web development time and enable easy support for millions of developers in creating complex web applications.

Nowadays, popular websites like Netflix, Instagram, Twitter, Quora..vv.. are all developed and run by Web Frameworks.

Understanding the importance of Web Frameworks, ArcBlock - the top blockchain platform has just recently released a similar framework that is exclusive for blockchain.

This new Framework is Forge SDK, allowing easy DApps build and deployment and customization for different Blockchain platforms for developers. Forge SDK can be considered as a next-generation framework, providing the most convenient tools for developers in building non-centralized applications.

The following chart illustrates the structure of ArcBlock's core services, people who are all too familiar with web application development can quickly spot the similarities.

Similar to Ruby on Rails, the goal of Forge SDK is to rule out complexity and limitations of current blockchain development platforms and bring optimal support for developers by allowing them to work on their strengths, coding, and Forge SDK will take care of the rest.

SDK is flexibly designed for integration of the latest Blockchains. Moreover, programmers can utilize the strengths of other Blockchain networks like Ethereum and Bitcoin via ArcBlock’s Open Chain Access Protocol - OCAP.

With Forge SDK, we can easily build our own Blockchains or easily connect to public Blockchains like Hyperledger or Ethereum.

On the birth of Forge SDK, Mr. Do Trung Kien (Blockchain research - R&D Unit, Sun*) said: “This is a very promising Framework. Previously, to work with Blockchain, developers must spend a lot of effort to integrate Web and Blockchain, each Blockchain have its own characteristics, so customization is extremely complicated. For Forge, developers only need to focus on deploying application and business logic, other complex issues will be eliminated almost entirely.

However, he also mentioned: “This is a brand new Framework, so there are not much reference documents or certainty on viability. In reality, Blockchain projects in Sun* are still in research and yet to be applied. Still, this is an excellent premise for applying in future projects."
