The official theme name of Sun* 10th Anniversary

It can be said that 2022 is a very important milestone, marking the first 10 years of Sun*'s development journey, wrapping up a brilliant decade, and heading onward to a promising future. On that glorious journey, we have gone from a small startup to a global, multi-field technology corporation, a Digital Creative Studio with a mission to help solve society's problems, as well as create awesome values for the world.

Ten years for the notoriously harsh IT industry is a huge period with countless revolutionary strides. Not only that, many big and small societal events affect all businesses, including Sun*. With the bravery forged from experience and constant cultivation, as well as agile thinking, and the readiness to take on the challenges of the creators, we have turned difficulties into opportunities, from which we become more mature and stronger.

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” - True to the famous saying of Laozi, when standing in the present position looking back on the long way we had passed, besides the proud feeling when remembering the ups and downs, and beautiful memories, we can't help but recall the reason why we decided to take our first steps, and for the same reason that a technology company with a warm name: Sun* had been born.

Inspired by these original values, “Stay Gold” was chosen as the name, as well as the official theme for the Company's 10th Anniversary.

“Stay Gold”

In the famous novel that is included in the American high school curriculum - "The Outsiders" ("The Outsiders") by author S.E. Hinton, there is a paragraph:

"You are gold when you're a kid. When you're a kid, everything is new. Like dawn, the way you dig sunsets, Ponyboy, that's gold. It's just when you get used to everything that it's day. Keep it that way, it's a good way to be… Stay gold, Ponyboy, Stay gold." 

This is also the first time the phrase "Stay Gold" is officially used in literature. “Gold” not only symbolizes what is precious but also the beauty of unadulterated purity, of our true self. Sincerity is like its surface meaning, “Stay Gold” is like a whisper to everyone's heart, telling us to keep the color of gold - to keep the most pristine, beautiful, and pure values. Because only when we are "gold", we can shine brilliantly, and find meaning in everything we do, and every journey we take.

With the Company, Stay Gold reminds us of the reason why Sun* was created, of the creators' ambitions, dreams, and passions from day one, which continue to be passed on, preserved intact by the Sunners in the past, present, and future. Starting from the dream of creating awesome value, and changing the world of only a few individuals, Sun* has grown to become a solid ship, helping many dreams of people with common ideals become true.

We believe that as long as the golden light in our hearts has not been extinguished, and the endless curiosity for the world is still burning inside, our boat will still sail, the journey will still be continued, our dreams will still be alive, and the people of Sun* still have the power and magic to change the world.
