Sun* Startup cooperates with Songhan Incubator to incubate startup from March 2020

One of the biggest difficulties of a startup is having an idea but not knowing what to do with it. Setting up a business, running or doing business is not easy, especially when you start from scratch.

With the desire to support startups in the early stage of the startup, on 11/3/2020, Sun* Startups, together with Songhan Incubator signed a Memorandum of Understanding for bilateral cooperation agreement in coordinating and sharing resources to support start-up.

In particular, the potential of Sun * is the solution, the power of technology, and 1000 IT engineers. Songhan owns leading experts on the business model, with the strength in connecting the market. Therefore, the cooperation between the two sides will open a firm development path for technology startups invested by two sides.

The first joint incubation program that the two sides will work together is: Initiate Startup. The project was launched in March and is aimed at all pre-seed and seed startups.

Joining the program, the founders will be trained, coached the basic knowledge about startup science and business platform by experts from both sides.

The two sides will implement this program in March and gather training from April to June.

Batch 1 của hoạt động đào tạo startup dự kiến sẽ diễn ra như sau: 

Objective: Training creative thinking, coaching skills to build business models, team building, presentation skills, get funding... for the start-up stage.

PARTICIPANTS

- Startup in the Idea/developing MVP stage. (Pre-seed/seed)

- Ideas that apply IT in any field

- Other requirements:

+ Founding team is living in Hanoi.

+ Founding team with at least 2 or more members, including technical and economic expertise.

+ Ability to communicate and prepare documents in English.

+ Commit to working hard for the program for at least 2 months if passing Round 1

+ The participant’s profile is full and valid. Commit that the information to participate in the program is legal.

Candidates who pass the profile will participate in the "Platform for building relationships" training course from HR training specialist Sales/Marketing HRP " and Coaching with the topic "6-step roadmap for building a successful business” from ActionCoach_SOTA - a branch of ActionCoach global in Vietnam.

Startups selected for round 1 will have 2 months of training in:

- Startup science, Design Thinking, Idea recognition, customer persona, customer journey, market inspection, prototype, create pitch deck), business planning, funding planning….
- Business Model Canvas, Market Share hypothesis presentation, Distribution Channels presentation, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility , Presentation Presenting and Pitching Skills, Where and how to find investors 

Startups selected by Sun* or/and SHi (with their own evaluation process) when starting a business from the startup idea in the program will receive:

- AWS Promotional Credit support package for 2 years & 1-year Business Support package equivalent to 11,500 USD through Amazon Web Services. Packages are applied based on the rules of AWS.

- Office and related operational support.

- Legal advice when establishing businesses

- Support connection with domestic and foreign investment funds in the network of Sun * & SHi

- Be selected by SHi to the program “Accelerator Journey” VTS 2020, helping start-ups commercialize products and services, increasing resources development capacity, increasing resources, and developing a firm market.

Expected activity schedule: 
- 3/16 => 20/4: Get online registration & interview 
- April 23 => 29/4: Attend a training course of HRP and ActionCoach_SOTA 
- 4/5 => 30/6: Top 10 to participate in 2 months of training experts 
- July: Graduated
