Sunners Danang: Donate tens of millions of dong, together with the city overcome the Covid-19 storm!

Danang vs Covid-19: The battle without mercy 

Although nobody wants, we all have to admit that: Covid is back and more dangerous than before! 

The peaceful land Danang - where we live and work suddenly becomes the center of the outbreak, and the whole city rushes to practice social distancing. This is something no one expected to happen! 

Fighting an epidemic like a fight to the death and everyone here suddenly became a warrior. As the epidemic is raging on, the trust of Danang people is getting stronger. As soon as the social distancing was announced, the agencies and the entire people immediately strictly follow the quarantine procedures and implement measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic. 

Observing the current situation of the epidemic, it is quite heartwarming when the city receives the enthusiastic support of the team of physicians, sponsors, agencies, departments, and organizations over the country. They are strangers but willing to accompany Danang in this difficult time with such a beautiful heart. 

With the determination not to be out of the Covid War, the Culture Development Team along with Sun* Danang Charity Club also launched the campaign: TOGETHER WITH THE CITY OVERCOME THE STORM and call Sunners to donate to support the Đà Nẵng Healthcare Union.

In less than a week of launching, the campaign attracted many Danang Sunners, with the donation of nearly VND 25,000,000 in the first batch. The whole plan of donating and supporting the Da Nang Healthcare Union has been agreed in detail by the Culture Development Team and Danang Charity Club!

Protect the doctors so they can protect us 

Regarding the process of implementing this campaign, Mr. Tran Xuan Dat - Representative of Culture Development Team of Sun* Danang shared: 
 

“The plan to use the donated fund is the top priority when we run this campaign. After the donation was held, representatives of CDT, Charity and Trade Union had a quick meeting to promote the disbursement of this fund and came to the conclusion that they would buy water jet masks. This product will help doctors be more secure in preventing the epidemic and we also feel more secure about their quality than buying masks. Currently, Sun* Danang will support a to prevent the epidemic. In the next 2 weeks, if the situation in Danang is still as serious as it is now, the Charity Club will have a plan to launch a program to support Danang for the second time. Hopefully we will have the cooperation of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh in this batch!" 

About the message to Danang Sunners, Ms. Luu Thi Hoai Thuong - Representative of Sun* Danang Charity Club emphasized: “Now, everyone should stay at home!!! Do not neglect the situation and protect your health carefully, everyone. This is a difficult time but we will not give up. Let's join the city in fighting against the pandemic! I really miss you and hope to see you soon!”

Let’s believe that with the consensus and the well-prepared plan, Sun* Danang will contribute their effort to protect the doctors and the volunteers who are directly fighting the epidemic day and night. 

By the way, all Danang Sunners would like to send the most sincere thanks to all physicians, volunteers, agencies, organizations, sponsors, and many people for silently protecting the city. Despite the difficulty in fighting the epidemic, now the whole country is looking out for Da Nang. After all, all the good things will come to our wonderful city!
