RnD Overfit is the champion of Sun* Hackathon 2019

With high appraisal from the judges and great respect from the competitors, RnD Overfit has proven their awesome skills after overcoming the challenges in the last 2 days to become the Winner of Sun* Hackathon 2019.

With the topic Digital Transformation, RnD Overfit brought to the stage "3D virtual assisstant" using Hologram technology, which offers assisstance in office work. The product aims at office work automation, process acceleration, repetitive task reduction, with features of user sensing and interaction. 

Integrated tech: Speech to text and Text to speech, NLP, DeepFake, hologram 3D design.

Second place of Sun* Hackathon 2019 belongs to RnD Underfit with Drug Care and Third place belongs to RnD Ignite with "You in Me".

Also, the organizer gave 3 special prizes for the most impressive teams: Most Popular Award for Shadow Team; Prospective Award for Thiếu Nữ and Outstanding Award for Homie Bois. 

After the competition, RnD Overfit has shared with Sun* News about their feelings of being the Winner. All members are filled with joy for their results. Nguyen Viet Anh said: "No such joy can be compared to the 36 hours of doing our best, completing our work and receiving the expected reward."

Thanh Trung also mentioned: "I am proud of having a united team, and that is one of the reasons why RnD Overfit can win over 23 hardcore competitors, apart from the unique idea of using hardware instead of just software. The team hopes that their product will not just stop at this competition, so they will continue to improve to be able to raise funds for the realization of this idea."

RnD Overfit is also extremely impressive in the eyes of judge Nguyen Tiep (Founder and CEO of the travel social media Astra) for their great idea, high potential product, good preparation and professional, confident presentation. 

"The teams are all excellent, as within only 36 hours, they were able to make up ideas, develop their product, retrieve statistics, study on consumer behaviors and needs of the society, build a demo app, code. The product of RnD Overfit provided a great solution for the problems of human resource and office workers. If it can be applied into real life, it will be an amazing product for customer service center of business and organization." - Mr. Nguyen Tiep said.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan - Manager Sun* Startup Studio shared about his enthusiasm for the competition: "After this competition, I believe that the contestants have had an overview into how to make a product that matters to the society. It is not just about building the product, you must ask yourself questions, that what your work really means. I believe that your mindset has expanded." 

Sun* Hackathon 2019 has finally come to an end, leaving unforgettable joy, excitement, intensity and even some remembrance for Sunners in the competition.

Nevertheless, winning or losing might not matter anymore, because the performance in the last 3 days is the proof of a young generation of Sun*, dare to think - dare to act, always ready to get out of their comfort zone, think outside the box to bring the values that matter to the society. 

They are the ones who greatly inspire the Sun* members in particular, and the professional IT community in general. 

"It doesn't matter who our competitors are, what matters is the things we do!" - Nguyen Van Giap - Team 4ru3_SBK left a strong remark after the competition.
