The High Conference 2019: Cutting-edge technology with leading-edge speakers

With the view to share knowledge to efficiently solve existing problems within the projects, the EUV2 managers along with technical leaders organize an annual tech event called The High Conference. In this event, speakers will share and discuss on issues directly related to new technologies that can be applied in Sun* projects.

Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Sơn - Manager EUV2 shared with the event: The High Conference by EUV 2 hopes to provide technical support for research and technical activities within the Unit. One new upgrade from 2018 edition is the participation of Design Unit and R&D Unit, with a view to bring different perspectives in terms of design and security... 

"We hope that these new information will be the firm stepping stones to be creative, be proactive, break through, reach success, and finally, become a Creative Studio" - Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Sơn said.

The topics of The High Conference this year is about 'Make Innovations That Matter' hoping that the research and innovations from the speakers will bring significant changes to the work of Unit 2.

Mr. Nghiêm Tuấn Minh opened The High Conference 2019 with a livestreaming product. This tech area reaches almost hundreds and billions dollars of worth with many different formats.  Virtual streaming is commong among many Vtubers.

To fulfill the demands of Vtubers, Mr. Nghiêm Tuấn Minh's group in EUV 2 has created a 2D live system that allows users to use profile picture on the system, with animations that simulate facial expressions of users. 

The world famous system of this kind is FaceRig, sold for 15USD for regular version and 65 USD for premium, only on PC. Live2D was created to improve the disadvantages of FaceRig. 

Technology has brought many awesome applications. However, security risks might bring unforseenable consequences. 

During development, apart from functions, security also plays a very important role. Research on this topic also attracts the attention from many developers. 

The representative from team Cyber Security (R&D Team), Mr. Nguyễn Anh Tiến presented 'Pen-testing in action'. In his presentation, he mentioned common errors in security as well as case studies while performing pentest by team Cyber Security Research R&D Lab as well as vulnerabilities found in Sun* projects.

For e-commerce systems, in order to meet the demands of customers, high processing rate for mass orders is always a game changer. Efficiency is always a challenge for all developers. However, it seems like the challenge has finally been conquered by applying Kafka Streaming to create workflow.

With groundbreaking technology, it is not just about how to keep up with the functions, but also certain requirements when it comes to UI/UX. How to bring the most convenient experience for users is the topic of presentation by Nguyễn Ngọc Tuấn B and Hoàng Tuấn Sơn from Design Unit.

The last topic of The High Conference 2019 is Artificial Intelligence in Real World by speaker Phạm Văn Toàn from AI Team, R&D Unit. Mr. Toàn brought an overview of most common AI issues as well as important approaches to AI in real life.
