Sun* Startup Studio brings Awesome Award to Google DevFest Central Vietnam

Google Developer Central Vietnam is the annual event in Da Nang with two programs, Hackathon and Demo Day. Sun* is the Silver Sponsor, with the “Awesome Awards” that is 5 million dong award in cash and other special offers: one month of mentorship (2 remote discussion and consultation every week) & Sun* Startups mentoring session: Business Model canvas.

In this year, the theme “Think green, live green, code green" of DevFest is considered a practical topic that follows the general context of the world in 2019. Projects in Hackathon must provide solutions to the existing environmental problems. The competition attracted more than 115 competitors and 11 teams for idea pitching.

Defeating many major competitors, the project "Go home trash" has been given the Sun* Awesome Awards. The app allows users to manage trash collecting areas, newly formed trash sites and schedule for gabarge van. Users can report the status of these trash collecting areas for the management board, as well as create events for people to clean up trash together.

Apart from the 5 million dong reward, the project will receive mentorship from Sun* Startups for one month. We hope that with the support with experienced specialists of Sun*, the project will continue to grow and come into reality, contributing to solving the current "aching" environmental issues.
